It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Strieby of Westmont, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Fabian and Elizabeth Fabian (Spevacek) of Downers Grove, Illinois.; her husband Herbert Strieby; her daughter Nancy; her sisters, Eleanor Fabian and Rosemary; and her brother-in-law Stanley Passon.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Wenzel (Thomas) of Durham and Linda Kent of DeLand; and her grandchildren, Larry Brannam (Suzie), Scott Brannam (Laurie), Heather Brannam, Jason Schachel (Consuelo), Amanda Kent (Sam Lansdale), Jenny Tossey, Eric Kent (Kimberly), Matthew Strieby, Glen Tossey (Amy) and Tara Batdorf (Will). She is also survived by her husband and longtime friends in Luther for as long as her children.
