He was predeceased by : his siblings, Doris Goes (George), William Deiters (Patricia) and Lorraine Schlicklin (Ernie). He is survived by : his wife Joan; his daughters, Suzanne Lyngaas (Michael), Carol Aronson (Curtis) and Kimberly Becker (Kirk); and his grandchildren, Brian Lyngaas (Torrie), Julie Manwaring (Brendon), Eric (Kristen), Scott, Timothy Fiedler (Kristin), Matthew Aronson (Amy), Claire Jakubisin (Michael), Kathryn Aronson, Alex and Lauren Becker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations given to the Catholic Charities or the Jesuit Academy are appreciated.
