She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Walter McGuire and Francis McCormick McGuire; her siblings, John McGuire (Paulette), Mary "Liz" Henebry (late John P.), Frances Rassas (late George), Josephine "Dodie" Dwyer (late John E. "Jack"), Patricia Dwyer (late Robert) and Walter McGuire (late Selina); and her siblings-in-law, Raymond R. Dowdle (Dee), Mary Lucas (late Jack), J. Jerome Dowdle Dowdle (late Betty) and James C. Dowdle (Sally).

She is survived by: her children, John Dowdle, Julie Dowdle Rogers of Deerfield, IL, Stephen Dowdle (Nancy) of Vail, CO, Mary Dowdle Potts-Levine (Harvey) of Monmouth Junction, NJ, Kathleen Dowdle Mahowald of Chicago, Carey Dowdle (Rosemary) of Northbrook, IL, Sheila Dowdle Steger (Peter) of Northfield, IL, Kevin Dowdle (Annette) of Chicago, Richard Dowdle (Shannon) of Glenview, IL, Denis Dowdle (Mary) of Newton, MA and Michael Dowdle (Chmaine) of Atlanta, GA.; her grandchildren, Andrew, Lindsay, Claire, Ryan, Conor Dowdle, Geoff, Spencer Rogers, Brendan, Aidan, Stephanie Dowdle, Katie, Julia, Maggie Mahowald, Cara, Mark, Erin Dowdle, Peter, Matthew, Shannon, Sarah, Kevin, Madeline Steger, John Anthony, Mary Grace Dowdle, Meaghan, Patrick, Clare, Brigid, Maeve, Thomas Dowdle, Margaux, Jacqueline, Colin Dowdle, Jordan and Scottie Dowdle; and her great grandchildren, Cash, Henry, Maggie, Shea, Raynor, James, June and Liam. She is also survived by eleven children, thirty-eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Saints Faith Hope & Charity Church – which she attended for 66 years – and is private for family only due to the pandemic.
