It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Brown Sr. of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on March 30, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Brown and Florence Brown (Sampson); his wife Karen; his sister Joyce; his brother-in-law Dave Miner; his aunt Josephine Woodside; and his cousins, Mary Woodside and Thomas Woodside.
He is survived by: his son James Brown, Jr. (Traci) of Converse; his grandchildren, Samantha Brown of San Antonio and Quinton Brown; his cousin Margaret Woodside of Wilmington; his niece Lynda Miner; and his great-niece Kiara Miner of Braidwood.
The family will receive friends for a COVID observant visitation on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 9:00 a. m. until the time of funeral services 1:00 p. m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington.
