He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Horwath and Regina Horwath (Miller); his sister Anne Horwath; his parents-in-law, Ronald and Maureen Chaney; and his pet Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Horwath (Grazis); his children, Nicole Winn (Brian) of Las Vegas, Stephen Horwath of Las Vegas, Michael Horwath of North Dakota, Matthew Chandler of Diamond and Christopher Chandler (Kathy) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Easton, Nathan, Karlie, Markie, Chase, Isabel, Aaliya, Mark, Andi, Eli, Evan and Charlotte; his siblings, David Horwath (Valerie) of Harrisburg, Donna Baffa (Dennis) of Tomahawk, Rebecca Craven (Mike) of Frankfort, Bonnie Marino (Jack) of New Lenox and Gene Horwath (Dawn) of Tomahawk, Wisconsin; his sisters-in-law, Becky Hansen (Rick), Pam VanDuyne (Mike), Michelle Chaney and Bev Chaney (late Jim); and his friends, Helge Olavesen and Scotty Vollmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Stephen's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Kuzma Care Cottage.
