It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Devereaux Hawley of Winnetka, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Chatfield Hawley; and her sisters, Suzanne Devereaux Lightfoot and Jeanne Devereaux Hoffman. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Bennett Hawley (Rosalie) of Winnetka, James Devereaux Hawley (Ellen) of Greenwich, CT and Bradford Pier Hawley (Julie) of Kenilworth, IL; and her grandchildren, Crystal, Brandon, Bennett, Adeline, Mackenzie and Kyden.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Dorothy's name may be made to the Chicago Botanical Garden at https://www.chicagobotanic.org.
