Herta M. Lorenz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herta M. Lorenz in Woodlawn, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Rudolph E. Lorenz; her parents, Karl Muellner and Marie Muellner; her grandson Dave McNichols; and her brother Adolf Stanzel.

She is survived by : her children, Judith O'Connor (Ed Marsey), Rudolph K. Lorenz (Kathleen) and Barbara McNichols (late John "Jack" W.); her grandchildren, John O'Connor III (Sara), Barry O'Connor (Jackie), Rudy Lorenz (Claudia), Ryan O'Connor (Kim), Dan O'Connor (Jess), Karyn Schuett (Tim), Adam Lorenz (Jennifer), Michael McNichols, Brian McNichols (Holly) and Kate McNichols (Emma Roberts); her great grandchildren, Gabrielle O'Connor, Lauren O'Connor, Taylor O'Connor, Christian O'Connor, Juliette O'Connor, Kaitlynne O'Connor, Cade O'Connor, Karli O'Connor, Sean O'Connor, Haley Angel, Samantha Lorenz, Spencer Lorenz, Weston Lorenz, Alyssa Lorenz, Shayleigh McNichols, Declan McNichols, Broden McNichols, Anniston McNichols, Benjamin Schuett, Jude Kendrick and Rhys Kendrick; her niece Linda Overman (Neal); and her nephew Michael Stanzel (Terry).

Any individuals attending MUST maintain social distancing as well as wearing a mask. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a memorial get together will be held in the summer.
