He is survived by: his siblings, Milford Burgess (late Joan) and Judy Culbertson (Laurence) of Coolidge, AZ.; his children, Jeff Burgess (Veronika) of McHenry, IL, Jea Nae Remala (Jay) of Kingston, IL, Gayla Burgess of Marion, IA and Charla Burgess (Ron Shepard) of Frankfort, MI.; his grandchildren, Ryan Burgess (Nicole Domanico) of Nashville, TN, Abigail Burgess (Kristopher Coss) of Wonder Lake, Emma Wiegel (Dillon) of Martelle, IA, Willa Kramer, Simon Kramer of Frankfort, MI, Drew Remala of Parker, CO, Cruz, Zane, Quintyn, Amara Wiegel, Finn and Bentley Wiegel; and his close friends, Ken and Mary Gregory of Baldwin, IA. He is also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at 612 Co Rd 1910N, Johnsonville, IL 62850.
