He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Reichardt and Mary Louise Reichardt (Smith); his siblings, Evelyn Walter, Thomas Reichardt and Enid Crossman; and his brother-in-law Robert Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean E Reichardt (Swanson); his children, Jeff Reichardt of Trussville, AL and Sandra Luckey (Harry) of Woodstock; his granddaughters, Heidi Kelahan (Jamie) of Woodstock, Heather Ansell (Nathan) of Mukwonago, WI, Holly Beck (Collin) of Woodstock and Monica Showers (Jack) of Birmingham, AL; his great grandchildren, Megan, Luke Kelahan, Christian, David, Scarlett Ansell, Brayden, Madilyn Showers, Landon and Nolan Beck; his sister Doris Warn; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Swanson and Dorothy Reichardt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many dear, lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers and expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his honor to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN or to the McHenry County Conservation Foundation to preserve our national habitats for generations to come.
