He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Francis, Jr. and Helen Mae Fleitz (Shepherd); and his sister Mary Fleitz. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Ann Holland of Wyoming, Illinois; his sons, Joseph "Jay" Fleitz, IV of Temple Terrace and Matthew Thomas Holland-Fleitz of Dunlap, Illinois; his grandchildren, Gresham, Bronwyn, Quinlan, Emilia, River and Noah; and his siblings, Veronica Detrick of Mays Landing, John Fleitz of Lilburn, Thomas Fleitz of Dover and Louis Fleitz of England.

Memorial contributions may be made to Unity Point Health Home Care or OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
