He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franzen and Marie Franzen (Zupke); his siblings, Howard Franzen and Evelyn Franzen; and his brother-in-law Casey Grumad.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Edwards; his children, William Franzen of Winfield and Christa Franzen-Garrison (Donald) of Wyoming; his grandchildren, Arianna Franzen (Ryan Gilles) of Wyoming, Madelyn Cozad (Matthew Wilson) of Wyoming and Brandon Franzen (Mackenzie Brown) of Wyoming; his great grandchildren, Connor and Grace; and his siblings, Jim Franzen (Sue) of Chicago, Jerry Franzen of Michigan, Roger Franzen of Chicago, Darlene Klueg (Don) of Schaumburg, Deborah Grumad of Carpentersville and Barbara Gonke (Bob) of Norridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Ambulance, Kewanee Animal Shelter, Toulon Rehabilitation and Heath Care Center or Wyoming Fire Department.
