It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland L. Gurnsey of Wyoming, Illinois, born in Canton, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Eldon Gurnsey and Joyce Gurnsey (Haage); his son-in-law Lester Waid; and his brother James Gurnsey. He is survived by : his wife Linda Geary; his children, Kenny Gurnsey of Toulon, Michael Scott (Lisa) of Washington, Kristina Waid of Creve Coeur and Shannon Murrie of Brimfield; his brother Eldon Gurnsey (Kim) of East Peoria; and his sister-in-law Marcy Gurnsey of Chillicothe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may go to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
