He was predeceased by: his son Rey Olaya; and his parents, Julio Olaya and Emperatriz Olaya. He is survived by: his daughter Yolanda; his grandchildren, Rey and Nico Olszewski; his spouse Olinda; and his sisters, Victoria of Piñerez and Yolanda Bernal.
