He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Gonzales and Lee Gonzales (Gonzalez); his daughter Diana; his aunt Jo; and his uncle Eddie.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy (Wolf); his sons, Tony, Peter and Frank III; and his brother Roy Gonzales.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Anne's Catholic Church (551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to the Frank M. Gonzales, Jr. Memorial Summer Scholar Fund.
