He is survived by : his children, Margaret Zitt of Naperville, James Zitt, Jr. (Cathleen) of Scottsdale, AZ, Anthony Zitt of Columbus, MS, Thomas Zitt (Barbara) of Yorkville, Ann Kohut (Mark) of Sun Lakes, AZ, Timothy Zitt (Sue) of Stockton, MO, Jeanne Keller (Jamie) of Peoria, AZ, Terry Zitt (Sue) of Plainfield, Rosemary Gunderson (Dave) of Sun Lakes, AZ and Andrew Zitt (Patrice) of Mokena; and his siblings, Rosemary Zitt of Tucson, AZ, Carol Leach (Gary) of Tucson, AZ, Jane Overstreet (John) of Bradenton, FL and Donald Zitt of Yorkville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
