It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry J Bassett of Alexandria, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Roscoe L. Bassett and Mildred Bassett (McCarty); and his brother Larry Bassett. He is survived by : his wife Georgia Bassett (Harris); and his sons, Greg Bassett (Christina), Chris Bassett (Alexis) and Tim Bassett (Rebecca). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial gifts be directed to Pete's Pantry, 309 W. Washington St., Alexandria, IN 46001.
