She is survived by: her parents, Melvin Sprague and Joan Sprague; her husband Jeff Montgomery; her children, Joe Montgomery (Jessica) and Melissa Montgomery; her grandchildren, Logan and Grace Montgomery; her brother Monte Sprague (MaryAnn); and her nieces, Ashley Larimore (Paul) and Suzanne Drollinger (Dustin).

Out of respect for public safety, Covid 19 restrictions will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts be made to a charity of the Donor's choice in Melanie' memory.
