With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Corwin of Alexandria, Indiana, born in Langley, Arkansas, who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Corwin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh York and Lona York (Seals); her husband Russell Lee Corwin; and her brother Hershel York. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Sue Swift; her sisters, Jewel Balser (Frances) and Faye Mulllen (Winfred); and her grandchildren, Teresa Anderson (Ron Brady), John Lundy (Andrea), Patricia Buckingham and Jenifer Sizelove (Paul). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made the Professional Firefighters of Alexandria Local 1649 Flower Fund, 212 S. Harrison St., Alexandria, IN 46001 or in care of the funeral home.
