He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Loren and Mary Margaret Felix (Tatlock); his spouse Hazine Daulton (Burton); his brothers, John William Felix and Floyd Eugene "Bud" Felix; and also Patricia Eleanor Stembaugh.
He is survived by: his children, James Loren Felix II of Bagdad, KY, Susan Jane Casey of Taylorsville, KY, Judith Kay Cunningham of Shelbyville, KY, Rebecca Lynne Felix, Louisville and Robert Joseph Felix; his sisters, Carolyn Holen (Robert) and Nancy Felix; his daughter-in-law Shirley Daulton; his grandchildren, Lesanne, Kristen Connor (Kylie), Mya, Zeke, Iven and Nick; and his great grandchild Sam.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in James' memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association.
