It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Marie Spangler (Anderson, Indiana), born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on January 9, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ross A. Spangler; her stepson Dale Spangler; and her brothers, Larry Lee Hobbs and Glen Hobbs. She is survived by: her sons, Joe Ellerman (Faye) of Fountaintown and Mike Ellerman (Sherri) of Angola; her stepchildren, Shannon Spangler (Ivy), Shawnie Sutton (Cliff) and Barbara Vickers; and her siblings, Mary Lou Brown, Ramona Copeland (Doug), Peggy Badgley, Sandra Anderson, Connie Thomas (Mike), Richard Hobbs and Terry Hobbs. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in memory of Barbara to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place.
