He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Burgan and Mabel Burgan; his wife Paula Burgan; his stepdaughters, Cindy Montgomery (Monte) of Greenfield and Julie Leet of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Shan, Corey, David, Betsy, Kella, Matthew, Dana, Abby, Mitchel, Megan, Adam and Sylvia; his sister Karen Hester of Anderson; his brothers-in-law, Roger Kellams (Beverly) of Carmel and Richard Kellams (Melinda) of Nashville, TN; his son-in-law Tim Sheridan; his former wife Rosalyn Burgan (Combs); and his children, Steve Burgan and Gina Sheridan A. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Bennie's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
