He was predeceased by: his wife Hilda Anes Moret; and his parents, Carlos Garcia and Manuela Lugo. He is survived by: his siblings, William Garcia-Lugo, Fernando Garcia-Lugo (Elsa), Modesta Garcia Texidor (Ephraim) and Gladys Garcia of Quirindongo; his children, Carlos Javier Garcia (Maria) and Hilda Enid Garcia (Shaundra); his grandchildren, Ana Lisa Garcia, Carlitos Garcia, Angel Garcia, Jazzmine Razaa, Joshua Carlos Garcia, Jeremiah David Garcia, Jada Elizabeth Garcia, Jonathan David Garcia and Samuel Eduardo Garcia; his great grandchildren, Nayeli Razaa and Aiden Rivera; and his siblings' child Silkia Lugo Garcia (Magaly).
