He was predeceased by: his parents, Selbert Lewis Braden Sr. and Nannie Jewell Braden (Pitts); his wife Linda Braden; and his nephew Todd Pickett. He is survived by: his children, Jim Boone (Cathy) and Angela Braden; his grandchildren, Sydni Boone, Rylee Boone, Kaleb Mitchem, Derrick Mitchem Jr. and Kyla Mitchem; his great grandchild Emerson; his siblings, Selbert Lewis Braden Jr. (Bonnie), Janice Pickett (Thomas), Paul Braden (June) and Melvin Braden; his siblings' children, Bruce Braden, Jennifer Blair, Timothy Pickett, Troy Pickett, Trent Pickett, Elyse Braden and Kelly Braden; and his close friends, Phillip D. Foley, Gary Meeker, Tom Pickett and Jim Koons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
