He is survived by: his wife Velma Burris; his children, Marcelle Edwards, Teressa Walker (Anthony) of Anderson, Larry Edwards (Dawn) of Gulfport, MS, Donald Edwards and Karen Woodall (John Jr.) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, John III, Jordan, Janelle Woodall, Marcelle Jr. and Marlon Edwards; and his sister-in-law Georgia Edwards of Chicago. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
