He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brinduse and Vera Brinduse (Popa); his former wife Barbara J. Brinduse (Shaw); his siblings, Flora, Vasalie, Ana, John Jr., Matthew, Joseph, Anne, Olivia "Lee", Paul, Ruth and Mary; and his stepson Tom Shinness.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Shinness Brinduse; his children, Carol Grace of Anderson and Jerry Brinduse (Jadd) of Caneyville, KY; his stepchildren, David Shinness of Canada, Roger Shinness Carmel and Molly Estabrook of Anderson; and his grandchildren, Eric James (Heather), Erin James of Texas, Jason Brinduse and Jennifer Brinduse. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
