He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Heckman and Irma Schroeder (Hannum); his grandson Timothy Heckman; and his sister Helen Jo Tomlin. He is survived by: his wife Amy Heckman; his sons, Christopher Windhorst (Gloria) and Derek Heckman (Sarah); his stepchildren, Phillip Ingalls and Katie Ingalls; his siblings, Jimmy Tomlin and Judy Wurz (Don); his grandchildren, Miah, Damien, Cicily, Amalia, Azalia, Hannah and Harper; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Camden and Bronson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
