He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl and Jane Curtis (Clark); his wife Deborah Kay Curtis (Nicholas); and his pet Ollie. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Wright (Delbert) and Jennifer Daniels; his sister Peggy Ann Wolff (Harold); his grandchildren, Chelsie Booker (Peter), Holden Wright, Carson Wright, Thomas Turney, John Turney, Amber Daniels and Jessica Daniels; and his great grandchildren, Adrian Turney, Anna Belle Turney and Savannah Booker.
