He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Wilder and Viola Wilder (Feezel); his wife Melanie Wilder; and his daughter Jennifer Wilder (John Hancock). He is survived by: his children, Sean Ferree of Anderson, George Robert Wilder of Anderson and Alison Wilder of Anderson; his grandchildren, Belle Turley and Wilder Turley; his sister Mary Catherine Pickle; his nieces, Andrea Lesko and Monica Browning; and his close friends, J. T. Bahler, Brian, Cundy and Charles Baden. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
