He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Gibson (Farmer); his parents, George F. Gibson and Lessie I. Cutler; and his sisters, Eloise Shank, Dolores Pierce and Rosa Philpot.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hannon (Paul) of Indianapolis, Greg Gibson (Linda) of Eustis, FL and Brian Gibson (Melissa) of Fishers; his grandchildren, Charlie Gibson, Sarah Bailey and Thomas Bailey; and his siblings, Joyce Bair, Marge Patterson, Robert Gibson (Sue) and Jo Ramsay. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
