Horace Matthews Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2020, at the age of 84, Horace Matthews of Anderson, Indiana, born in Livingston, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Matthews and Leta Matthews; his former wife Jeanne Matthews; his son Ronnie L. Matthews; and his siblings, Florence Hall, Ray Matthews, Claude Matthews, Frances Matthews and Earl Matthews.

He is survived by: his daughter Connie Jones (John); his grandson John Paul Jones, Jr.; his wife Lena Matthews of Cookeville, TN; his stepchildren, Jeff Norrod (Karen) and Debbie Robbins; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Norrod, Zachary Norrod, Kimberly Norrod, Erica Stokes (Eric) and Vickie Hargis (Jamie); his sister-in-law Mary Matthews; his siblings, Hoyte Matthews (Louise) and Pauline Spicer (Clarence); and his friend Dianna Short. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
