He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Vukich (Kincaid); his wife Joan Smith; his grandparents, Ola Mae and Roy Kincaid; and his siblings, James Vukich and Diane Hennis.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Smith of Anderson, Lori Nivens (Randy) of Anderson, Keith Smith of Anderson and Jan Keevin (Mike) of Fortville; his brother John Vukich (Delores) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Jason Nivens (Jill), Dustin Nivens, Brittany Hosier, Erika Tate (Ben) and Brian Smith; and his great grandchildren, Max Nivens, Wyatt Nivens, Kennedy Turner and Shade Riddle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Wounded Warriors.
