He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Summers and Ruth Summers (Fraziers); and his siblings, Dick Snyder, Bob Summers, Howard Summers, Gene Summers and Phyllis Closser.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Summers (Rice) of Chesterfield; his children, Leanna Lee (Jim), Debra Moorman (Randy) and Bob Summers (Lisa); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Summers and Eloise Barth. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Community Hospice.
