She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Harper and Marguerite Harper (Vandermark). She is survived by: her children, Donna Lay (Frank), John Gregory Smith, Julie Silva (Perry) and Laurie Reed; her sister Nancy Kendall (Larry); and her sister-in-law Ruth Barney. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
