It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo Ann Jimenez of Anderson, Indiana, born in New York, New York, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Jimenez. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Gwaltney of Honolulu, HI and Jacyln Wood (Aric Miller) of Anderson; her mother Amelia Newkirk (Bob); her siblings, Nancy Spurgeon (Mike) of Anderson, Emily Wasson (Von) of New Castle, Joe Jimenez (Karen) of Anderson and Eric Jimenez (Rebekah) of Markleville; and her grandsons, Maxx Gossett and Rhett Miller. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
Due to her family having to travel and the COVID restrictions, visitation will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021, 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson. Due to the COVID restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to establish a college fund for her grandchildren.
