He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Davis and Ruth Davis; and his siblings, Theodore Davis, Roy Davis, Ora Davis, Helen Banter, Martha Runyan, Dolly Davis and Gracie Lou Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Valentine Davis; his children, Gary Davis, Debbie Cookman (Harold), Jeff Davis (Naomi) and Lisa Taylor (Bob); and his sister Nellie James. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
