He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren A Smith and Thelma L. Reno (Cox); his wife Sandra J. Smith; and his siblings, Patricia Wilson, Jerry Smith and Danny Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Rush of Anderson, Ronald Smith of Phoenix, AZ, Judy Beady (Glen) of Ft. Wayne, Rex Smith (Shirley) of Anderson and Deborah Zachary (Larry) of Anderson; and his niece Brenda Crim. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
