It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Smith (Anderson, Indiana), born in Wise, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Smith Jr.; her parents, Calvin Sparks and Georgia Sparks (Riner); and her siblings, John Sparks, Claude Sparks, Earl Sparks, Edward Sparks and Edna Sosbe.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve Smith and Leslie Darrah; her sister Shirley Sparks of Dorothy Hill; her granddaughter Joni Large; and her nieces, Joann Gates and Brenda Lawson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
