He was predeceased by: his father Marshall D. Brooks; his wife Carlene E. Brooks; his daughter Valerie Brooks; and his mother Etta Brooks Dilling. He is survived by: his children, Steve Brooks (Rendi) of Fishers, Linc Brooks of Anderson, Jake Brooks of Anderson and Debbie Williams (Gary) of Bloomington; and his grandchildren, Marshall, Madison, Mitch, Lakin, Dawson, Dawn Smith and Gary Wilhoite.
