He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Smith; his children, Christina Alstott (Tom) of Indianapolis, Mitchell Smith (Mary) of Anderson and Joseph Smith of Indianapolis; his stepson Timothy Bridges of Anderson; his siblings, Charlene Holsinger (Ron) of Gaston, Alberta Biddle of Anderson and John Keller of Oregon; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnne Hadlow (Ralph) and Roger Ellis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
