She is survived by: her mother Janet Howard (Goodwin); her husband Randy Safford of Anderson; her mother-in-law Mary Macklin of Anderson; her children, Jason Vandergrift of California, Chris Vandergrift (Julie) of Fortville and Brooke Safford of Anderson; her sister Vicki Chase (Jeff "Uncle Evil") of Anderson; her brothers-in-law, Bob Safford (Donna) of Noblesville, Mark Safford of Anderson and Steve Harney (Patty) of Fishers; her grandchildren, Madison Johnson and Mason Vandergrift; her sibling's children, Holly Flesher (Wes) of Muncie and Adam Chase (Ashley) of Anderson; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson, Cooper, Maddux, Austin, Ava, Ashton and McKenzie.
