He is survived by: his wife Vera Jean Daugherty (Yocom); his sons, Mark Daugherty (Chisato) of Nashville and Myron Daugherty of Elwood; his sisters, Joyce Anderson, Kay Riley, Judy Andersen and Ruth Palmer; and his grandchildren, Stacey Hofer (Greg), Aleshcha DeWitt (Charles), Cory Daugherty (Stacy), Travis Daugherty (Natalie), Kira Daugherty (Tim Walton) and Laurel Daugherty. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
