He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nellie Jane Willis (Smith) and William Russel Willis; his wife Victoria L. Barr; his daughter Emily K Campbell (Willis); his son-in-law Craig H. Campbell; his grandchildren, Jackson Keith and Victoria Rose Campbell of Breckenridge, Colorado; his sister Marilyn L Contreras of El Paso, Texas; his nieces, Beth Miller of New Castle, Cheryl Peck of El Paso, Amy Wolfe of Pagosa Springs and Elisa Contreras of Anthony; and his cousin Karen Davis of Perryton, Texas.
