He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard and Betty Gibbons; his cousin Anthony Johnson; and his grandmother Cordie Johnson (Windel Beachboard Jr.). He is survived by: his parents, John Johnson and Mary Johnson; his children, Mercedez McVey (Michael), Noah Johnson (Kelsey) and Emma Johnson; and his grandchildren, Gianna, Karter and Kingsley. He is also survived by many cousins and special friends.
