He is survived by: his wife Lindie Thomas; his daughter Melissa Nyboer; his sister Cindy Howard; and his grandchildren, Angelous Thomas, Jaron Nyboer, Zander Nyboer and Charisma Nyboer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
