We bid farewell to Sophia Miller (Anderson, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2025 at the age of 96. Sophia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman McCarty and Ethel McCarty (Sorrell). She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Hood and Beth Halsell (David); her grandchildren, Dayna Stant (Doug), Chelsea Lee (Austin), Adam Wallace (Polly), Kyle Wallace and Megan Curran (Zachary); and her great grandchildren, Mason Stant, Garrett Stant, Rhett Lee, Tyden Lee and Maven Lee.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the Anderson Memorial Park.
