He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Hiatt and Mary Hiatt (Perkins); his son Terryl Hiatt; and his brother Dave Hiatt. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hiatt (Odom); his granddaughters, Vanessa Hiatt of Elwood, IN and Valerie Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC; his great grandchildren, Paige and Kathryn; and his brother Dan Hiatt of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to either Compassus Hospice or the Anderson Humane Society.
