She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Hargis; her parents, Kirby Cantrell and Bertha Cantrell (Ledbetter); her sons, Keith Edward Hargis and Mark Alan Hargis; her great grandchild Gabriel Reed; her siblings, Susie Smith, Bessie Carr, Illa Carr, Ross Cantrell, Doyle Cantrell and L. E. Hammock; and her sister-in-law Vaudia Boswell.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Noah (Doug), Diane Looper (Mark), Denise Maultra (Rick) and Neal Kirby Hargis (Lisa Marie); her grandchildren, Serenity, Douglas, Crystal, Amanda, Magdelyne, Shelby, Kimberly, Kristin, Jordan, Stevie and Darcie; her siblings, Betty Scott (Carl), Harold Cantrell (Jean) and Harmon Burns Cantrell; and her siblings-in-law, Reba Cantrell, Aline Carr, Elise Dulworth, Peggy Bilbrey, Johnny Hargis and Phyllis Faux. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
