He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionicio Ruiz and Isabel Ruiz (Ruiz). He is survived by: his wife Sonia Mejia Ruiz of Anderson; his children, David Ruiz (Jiovanny), Bethania Gallardo (Giovanni), Japhet Ruiz (Rosemary), Joel Ruiz and Gerard Ruiz; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecah, Sarah, Jay-Japhet and Angelina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Health precautions for the safety of the family and visitors will include wearing face coverings and social distancing at all times.
