He is survived by: his wife Della McCord (Sparks); his children, Nicole Blair (Matt), Virgil McCord, Jr. (Shelly), Brad McCord (Christy), Kevin McCord (Heather) and Kelly O'Bryant (George); and his brother-in-law Richard Bess (Inez). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
