He was predeceased by: his father Clyde James; and his wife Mary James. He is survived by: his mother Nellie James; his sister Linda Ellis (Tim); his daughters, Haley Ukiri (Joe) and Staci Alfrey (Chuck); his stepchildren, Jennifer Armstrong (Uriah), Tim Cox, Toby Cox and Dobie Cox (Brenda); his grandchildren, Quinn Ukiri and Zane Ukiri; and his friends, Donnie Musick and Tom Martin.
